Twirling Health Benefits



Twirling in dance has physical, emotional and psychological benefits, such as releasing eye muscles, balancing energy flow, and stimulating glandular activity, resulting in endorphin and serotonin release producing a sense of well-being. Twirling also may help to overcome depression. Research published in 2008 in the “Journal of Physical Education, Recreation & Dance” reported that many types of dance can promote health and wellness and disease prevention.
