In the classic film, The Red
Shoes, the character Lermontov interviews a ballerina named Vicky for his
ballet company.
Lermontov asks, "Why do you want to dance?"
Vicky answers his question with a question, "Why do you want to live?"
Lermontov says, "Well, I don't know exactly why, but...I must."
Vicky answers, "That's my answer too."
